D'juno what? There's an Ornament Tree at the Lafayette Reservoir!

Woof woof everyone!  Now that it's getting colder, that can only mean one thing.  The holidays are coming up!  This is my second favorite time of year (apart from summer).  I love curling up in front of the fire and smelling all the yummy smells coming from the kitchen.  Everyone is always full of holiday cheer and the holiday decorations make everything so festive!  But do you know what my favorite thing to do over the holidays is?  I love to go on a walk at the Reservoir and see the Ornament Tree!  This is a tradition that has been going on for over twenty years.  Last year, hikers and joggers put over 140 ornaments on the Ornament Tree by Christmas Eve!  My favorite part of the Ornament Tree is how everyone participates to make this a special event at the Reservoir.  The park rangers always take them down after New Years, and donate them to a Senior home so others can enjoy them too.  I hope you all have a fun and safe holiday season!  I miss you all and I can't wait to see you next summer!

Love and Licks,

Gus
